Taiwan's largest annual semiconductor industry event is set to take place on September 6th. Among the many international industry leaders, the focus will be on innovations in advanced processes, materials, chip and compound applications, as well as trends and innovations within the semiconductor industry. JM-APPLIED, a company primarily focused on the gas industry, has received its first invitation to participate in a GHG (Greenhouse Gas) expert forum. JM-APPLIED will showcase its exhaust gas treatment system (Scrubber) technology, as well as electronic fluorinated liquids (coolants), and continuously develop and optimize more suitable products to meet customer needs. The maturation of these two technologies supports the principles of environmental friendliness and sustainable environmental protection.
At the semiconductor exhibition, JM-APPLIED will showcase its exhaust gas treatment system (Scrubber) technology, which was developed as an advanced solution to manage exhaust gases produced during manufacturing processes. This system not only efficiently captures harmful gases but also converts them into harmless substances, significantly reducing the environmental impact. The treated exhaust gases can even reach ppm levels. JM-APPLIED's Vice General Manager, Li Jianwei, stated, "The exhaust gas treatment system (Scrubber) has been certified by Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute and meets standards superior to IPCC regulations."
In addition, JM-APPLIED's electronic fluorinated liquid (Coolant) has become an indispensable key element in the semiconductor field. Traditionally, perfluoropolyether (PFPE) used in the industry has been known to contribute to the greenhouse effect. The new electronic fluorinated liquid (Coolant) technology introduced by JM-APPLIED offers semiconductor manufacturers a superior solution. This new hydrogen fluoride ether D4 (HFE-6512) ensures smooth operation of production lines under extreme temperatures, protects equipment in harsh environments, and guarantees the stability and consistency of semiconductor products. Moreover, it has a lower global warming potential (GWP), thereby reducing the impact of greenhouse gases. In an era where environmental awareness is rising, innovation must not only be pursued but also contribute to creating a sustainable environment.
JM-APPLIED's General Manager, Li Junwei, stated, "Many raw materials have significant environmental impacts. By applying them to the semiconductor industry, we can help enhance the company's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) image, while also contributing to energy saving and emissions reduction." Faced with the environmental impact of technology on the planet, JM-APPLIED chooses eco-friendly materials, moving towards sustainability and environmental protection, and advancing the green upgrade of the technology industry. This will become a new milestone in the pursuit of environmental sustainability.
