JM-APPLIED has been an authorized agent for D4 (HFE-6512) hydrofluoroether coolant since April 2022. Hydrofluoroether (HFE) is one of the most essential fluorinated specialty chemicals, with an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of zero, a low global warming potential (GWP), and a short atmospheric lifetime, making it environmentally friendly. It is regarded as an ideal alternative to ozone-depleting substances (ODS).
 

Coolant Application Industries
Coolants are widely used in semiconductor manufacturing facilities as heat transfer media, suitable for thermal control applications. They are especially suited for various heat pipe cooling systems (such as vapor chambers, heat spreaders, and various types of heat pipe radiators), electric vehicle cooling, cooling for wind turbines, and internal cooling for generators. In semiconductor production, coolants are used at various stages, including semiconductor wafer manufacturing, electronic reliability testing, immersion cooling for data center servers, and many other high-tech applications.
 

Coolant Usage Record
Since May 2022, JM-APPLIED has been gradually supplying D4 (HFE-6512) hydrofluoroether coolant for testing and use at Micron Technology. This includes ongoing supply plans for their Taiwan Linkou Plant (F11), Taichung Plant (F16), and Singapore Plant (F10). Additionally, testing is underway at Micron’s U.S. plants (F4 & F6) and Japan Plant (F15).

Hydrofluoroether (HFE), as a key fluorinated specialty chemical, has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP), a low global warming potential (GWP), and a short atmospheric lifetime, making it nearly impact-free on the environment and an ideal replacement for ozone-depleting substances (ODS).
