On August 4, JM-APPLIED General Manager led the company team to visit the Smart Application Display Center, where they were hosted by Taoyuan Aerotropolis Corporation General Manager Xu Youming.
Xu provided a detailed explanation of the first and second phases of the Taoyuan Aerotropolis project, focusing on the industrial zones' areas and development priorities. The priority industrial area has completed land expropriation announcements and will soon proceed with the relocation of existing structures. Public infrastructure construction is set to begin by the end of the year. He also elaborated on the planning concept of "Airport Economics and Smart Aerotropolis," analyzing the various development advantages. With strong electronic manufacturing and industrial capabilities, the project aims to promote industrial integration and upgrades, driving the overall development of the Aerotropolis plan. The six main smart technology industries, including AIoT, cloud computing, aviation support, green energy, biotechnology, and smart vehicles, are being developed in combination with 5G, IoT, and other smart applications.
Xu further introduced the "Asia Silicon Valley Innovation R&D Center" located at the A19 station of the Airport MRT and the surrounding developments in the Qingpu Special District. The "Asia Silicon Valley Innovation R&D Center" focuses on advanced technologies such as AI, 5G, and IoT, combining cutting-edge technology to foster more innovative smart applications. It will develop into the central brain of the Qingpu Smart City with the establishment of the IDC Data Center and IOC Information and Logistics Management Center. Through the "Asia Silicon Valley Innovation R&D Center," Taiwan’s overall industry transformation and upgrades will be promoted, positioning Taiwan as a key player in the global IoT field and a crucial force in the global economy.
